Take preventative measures to protect your plant

Setting up traps is a great step to take in an effort to minimize pests on your office plants. It, of course, is not a fool proof plan, but it certainly is a good start. Yellow sticky traps help to catch flying pests, like white flies, and fungus gnats. You can buy them, or simply make your own by cutting bright yellow cardboard, and covering them in a sticky material.

Pot Color and Design

A neutral colored pot or container for your plant will show your plant’s colors to the best advantage. By not drowning the plant out with a bright container, the plant will be the first thing people see.

Ideal Office Plants

Rooms that are used for mental stimulation, such as an office, should contain the more spiky or spiny plants. Consider plants such as snake plants, palms, aloe, and yuccas for these rooms
